Sabemos bem que a bizarra Vespa de Peruca foi excluída das Aventuras de Alice através do Espelho (1871) de Lewis Carroll por não se encaixar nas regras de boa forma e aparência minimamente apresentável do clássico ilustrador John Tenniel. A Vespa do espelho tornou-se aquilo que não queremos ver e que não alcançamos o sentido. A Vespa devora o misterioso, o estranho, o que vive na sombra e nas encruzilhadas do sonho. Mas Alice resolveu investigar e decifrar a figura incompreensível que também reconhecia dentro de si mesma, no seu próprio teatro de figuras perdidas nos labirintos do inconsciente. Através de um aliceoscópio de sonhos, torna-se também uma sonhonauta entre alicinações e alicinâncias, voando e procurando por si mesma no sonho vespadélico de um ser desconhecido, fazendo perguntas impossíveis.
We are aware that the undesirable Wasp in a Wig was excluded from Lewis Carroll’s Through the Looking-Glass (1871) because it did not fit the rules of good taste and presentable appearance for the demanding illustrator John Tenniel. The Wasp in the mirror became what we don’t want to see or can’t reach the sense. The Wasp devours the strange, the uncomfortable, a monster who lives in a shadow, at the crossroads of our dreams. But Alice decided to investigate, to unravel the incomprehensible figure she recognized within herself, in her own theater of figures lost in the mazes of the unconscious. Through a bubble-machine and an Alicesscope, she becomes a dreamer flying among the waspadelic alicinations of a girl looking for herself in the dream of another unknown being asking for impossible questions.
